You are invited to an exhibition charting local change – from women transforming industries throughout history to the animalistic machinery reshaping the local landscape.

Sculptures and photography by Ellie Shipman and Jack Stiling in collaboration with Barton Hill History Group, as part of Charting Change, a University of Bristol public art commission for the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.

Join artist Jack Stiling to activate his playable digger-arm sculpture.

Women Workers’ Reunion: Thurs 21 Nov  2 – 4.30pm      
An afternoon with Barton Hill History Group bringing together women who worked in local industry, with talk from Jen Grove on the history of the Chappel Allan Corset Factory.

Late Opening: Thurs 21 Nov 6 – 8pm             
Join us for a late exhibition viewing and drinks at the Bricks bar!

Women in Research Networking: Fri 22 Nov 10 – 12pm        
A networking event for University of Bristol women in research (students welcome too) – bring an image from your research to connect with others over coffee and inform the artwork.
