Author and professor of Modern History at University of Bristol, Sumita Mukherjee presents the unique experiences of the very youngest South Asian migrants to Bristol from the Victorian era to Partition, instrumental not only in shaping Indian national and diasporic identities but forming an essential part of the Bristol we know today.
With research from her newly released book Imperial Footprints: A History of South Asian Child Migrants in Britain.
