Cher, Winona Ryder and Christina ricci absolutely shine in this underrated ’90s coming of age gem, where the real magic is the electric, messy, and deeply relatable bond between mother and daughter.
In 1963, the unconventional Mrs. Flax (Cher) and her daughters teenage Charlotte (Winona Ryder) and young Kate (Christina Ricci) arrive in small town New England. Mrs Flax is prone to moving her family somewhere new whenever a romantic relationship ends. But could the arrival of kind-hearted Lou lead to a permanent stop for the family?
This screening is a party to celebrate the start of the summer! Expect party refreshments, good vibes and maybe some dancing!
