Cold Moon Community Climate Gathering

December 4 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

A free seasonal get-together to celebrate the local climate activity of 2025 and dream into the year ahead of climate action in Brislington.

Under the Cold Moon -a symbol of winter rest and resilience and the last supermoon of the year- St Annes House is hosting a seasonal get-together and we’d love you to join us!

We will celebrate 2025’s local climate and nature activity, connect over shared food and dream into the coming year of community climate action in Brislington. Whether you have been involved in a ‘friends of group’ that look after our local parks and woodlands, taken action with Brislington Climate Action Group, Brislington Meadows Campaign or the campaign to clean up the Bristol Avon, or are simply a climate-curious local neighbour, we’d love to see you! Everyone is welcome.

6:00 Join us for drinks. We will provide a spiced winter warmer to kickstart the evening.
6:20 New film screening of short film, The Wild Is Here by Anna Haydock Wilson & Jo Chalkblack, part of the Catalyst Climate Art Commission. Plus, we’ll be sharing other inspiring climate and nature action activities such as St Annes House’ Youth Programme’s Climate Zine Project and reflective prompts from St Annes and beyond.
7:30 Food, crafting and climate conversation with From Ashes- talking about the future of our city in a changing climate. Make small paper houses with Anna as part of a city-wide project to be exhibited in the M-Shed in February. We’d love to hear your thoughts on what a future Bristol could look like if we declared it all a nature reserve!
