Batch Cook Club
Batch Cook Club are a collective who provide affordable community classes for people to learn how to cook healthy food in a sustainable and affordable way.
We’re excited the team are joining us again for their 3rd course at St Anne’s House.
Join Laurie and Seema, the founders of Batch Cook Club, for friendly, step-by-step classes where no prior cooking experience is needed. Each week, we’ll explore a new theme to help you gain confidence in the kitchen:
- Using spices to diversify your meals
- Reducing meat/vegetarian cooking
- Ideas to reduce food waste
- Making the most of cupboard staples
At the end of each session, you’ll take home up to 8 portions of food and enjoy a relaxed lunch with fellow participants. As part of the course, you’ll also receive reusable food bags, a freezer-to-oven dish, and an apron to keep.
If cooking isn’t your thing, you’re still invited to the Little Feast Lunches, a series of free community meals enjoying the cook made during the course dates. It’s a pay-what-you-can lunch, where you can come, chat to others, and enjoy some healthy, handmade food.
The total cost for all 4 sessions is £5. If the fee is a barrier, please contact Batch Cook Club at batchcookclub@gmail.com for information about subsidised places.
