Join Wild Kin Youth Theatre!
Weekly drama sessions are a space to build confidence, make friends, and explore theatre techniques in a supportive environment. No auditions required! Each year, members will also have the chance to perform in a full-scale original production.
Our very first session kicks off on Thursday 15th January 2026 at 5:45pm.
We’ll meet every Thursday (term time), running from 5:45pm – 7:00pm, with a short break.

Weekly drama sessions with Wild Kin offer a welcoming space to build confidence, make new friends, and develop theatre skills in a supportive, creative environment. There are no auditions – everyone is welcome. Each year, members will also have the exciting opportunity to perform in a full-scale original production.
Our first ever session takes place on Thursday 15 January 2026 at 5:45pm.
Sessions run every Thursday during term time, from 5:45pm–7:00pm, with a short break.
Wild Kin is designed for young people aged 11–18.
How Wild Kin Works
We run across three terms each year – Autumn, Winter and Spring – with breaks for half-term.
- £10 per session, paid termly
- FREE taster session for all new members
- First term: £90
- Following terms: £100
Performance Opportunities
Once the group is established, WKYT members will be able to sign up for an optional half-term production project at least once a year.
During this project, we’ll rehearse and perform an original play written especially for our cast.
There is an additional fee for this project, which helps cover:
- rehearsal and performance space
- props, costumes, staging and lighting
- professional music directors who create and teach original songs for our shows
These projects give us the chance to make something truly special together. Further details will be shared soon.
WILD KIN runs sessions catered to young people aged between 11-18
WILD KIN runs across three terms per year, AUTUMN, WINTER and SPRING with breaks for half term holidays.
Sessions cost £10 each, paid termly.
We offer a taster session completely FREE, so the first term would be £90. Each following term will be £100.
Once we are up and running WKYT members can sign up to take part in a half-term project (at least once a year) where we’ll rehearse and perform an original play written especially for our cast. This extra project is completely optional and does come at an additional cost to help cover the hire of our space, props, costumes, staging and lights – and to bring in professional music directors who write and teach the songs for our shows. It means we can make something really special together. More details on this to follow.
