Seaside Visit – Summer Youth Programme

This summer, we’re heading to the beach – and you’re invited!

You asked for more trips and days out, so we’ve added a free summer trip to Brean Sands as part of our Tuesday Open Access programme at St Anne’s House. It’s a chance to chill, explore somewhere new, and hang out together outside the city.

The day will include:
Time on the beach for sports and games
A walk up to Brean Down Fort along the headland
A BBQ with food and drinks provided

Whether you come regularly on Tuesdays or are thinking of joining us for the first time, you’re welcome to sign up! It’s a great way to get to know the group and the youth workers who’ll be running the day – familiar faces for many of you, and a friendly team for those just getting started.

Travel info:
We’ll be heading there by minibus and car with Kingswood Community Transport.

Times:
Please arrive at St Anne’s House by 9:50 so we’re ready to go.We’ll set off at 11am and return around 7pm.

What to bring:
Clothes for beach sports, plus layers/rainwear just in case (British summer, after all!). We’ll provide the rest – food, drinks, and good company.

Safety info:The trip will be led by our qualified male and female youth workers who know the group well. We’ll also have safety briefings, beach wardens, and a first aid station on site, plus an extra car for support.
