Rooted in Bristol – Documentary Film Screening & Talk

June 4 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

As part of Feeding Bristol’s Food Justice Fortnight starting next week, join Bristol Food Network CIC for an evening of film, conversation and creative connection at St Anne’s House.

They’ll be screening Rooted in Bristol – a moving documentary celebrating the Black and Afro-Caribbean growers who’ve shaped the city’s growing culture. It’s about land, identity and who gets to grow – and where.

After the film, hear from the filmmakers (Annie Menter and Tay Aziz, Afrika Eye) and take part in a Hip-Hop workshop with KMT – The Freedom Teacher, exploring food, power and justice through music and culture.

Wednesday 4 June, 6-9pm
Nibbles from Cibomatto
St Anne’s House, Brislington
Limited spaces – booking via Headfirst essential

Come gather, reflect and root deeper into what food justice means in Bristol.
