Help us develop our community exhibition! This is the first exhibition development workshop where we will start bringing ideas together.
About this project:
This project is the first of its kind at St Anne’s House. We want to create an annual community-led open exhibition where the community is at the heart of the project at all stages. Community members who want to participate will be able to in many different ways over the next few months. This session is the first chance to get involved and will involve helping to decide the exhibition theme, title and values.
About this session:
We will start the session by getting the creative juices flowing and get to know one another.
We will split off into groups and answer/discuss questions such as: “What kind of art inspires you?” “What would make you feel comfortable submitting artwork to an open exhibtion?” and “What exhibition themes would best represent the local community?”
We will then come together and have a communal dinner (provided).
Finally we will bring together our ideas and formulate our next steps.
