Ubuntu Play and Creative Therapies CIC

Ubuntu Play and Creative Therapies CIC are a non-profit organisation who offer play therapy for children aged between 4-12 years.

We provide children and their families with a safe and creative space in therapy. Our service is child-centred,  which means we trust in children’s ability to lead their own healing process.

Play Therapy allows children to use play and creative ways to communicate their difficulties rather than just talking.  The play therapists at Ubuntu are committed to providing a therapeutic environment that enables the child to build their confidence and self-esteem, leading to improved emotional health, wellbeing, and resilience.

It can support children through a range of difficulties such as:

  • Excessive emotions (anger, fear, sadness, worry, grief)
  • Low self-esteem
  • Abuse and neglect
  • Separation anxiety
  • Foster, adoption and identify issues
  • Family breakdown
  • Aggression and acting out behaviours

Take a look at our website to find out more or make contact with us about how we can support you. We often have funding available to offer concessionary rates to those that need financial help with costs.
