Spare Dog Records
Spare Dog Records is a Bristol based fairtrade record label which releases and promotes music from Malawi, a small country in Central Southern Africa.
We work with our sister project out in Malawi, Moto Wambiri Studios, to record a range of original contemporary music from talented artists, in a place where professional recording studios are scarce. At St Anne’s I finalise and mix music, record videos about Malawian artists and organise music tours.
Upcoming tours 2023:
A UK tour in July with Malawian artist Gasper Nali and another tour in October with Gasper Nali and Michael Mountain.
