Simone Hesselberg credit: Frances Willoughby

Simone Hesselberg is an artist-curator whose work is centred around support structures, with a focus on alternative pedagogies, collaboration, and co-mentoring

Her current work is informed by her investigation of physical and social support structures, exploring ways that she can support, and be supported by, peers and collaborators. Simone is part of Co-, a non-hierarchical, interdisciplinary collective that explores creative strategies for collaboration and skill-sharing as tools to support and enrich new, unexpected ideas.

Simone holds a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Curating. She has worked on a number of projects with organisations including Bath Spa University, Reading International, Spike Island, and the University of the West of England.
