Archiving Glitches with Dhaqan Collective

For their time, Dhaqan Collective explored the patterns that connect the sonic archives of Somali spirit possession rituals, finger weaving and EDM (electronic dance music).

From 22 October – 06 November Dhaqan Collective worked from the project space and put on an exhibition, and talk.

The group is feminist art collective of Somali women, Dhaqan Collective centres the voices of womxn & elders in their community, privileging co-creation & collaboration.
