St Anne’s Open House 2026
Open House is Back and We’re Turning Five!
St Anne’s Open House returns 12–14 June 2026, and this year we’re marking something special.
Every June we open our doors to the whole city — and this year feels like a particularly good moment to do it. Come and see what’s been built here!
Friday 12 June
6pm – late
Saturday 13 June
11am – 6pm
Sunday 14 June
11am – 6pm
“Open House is at the heart of what St Anne’s House is about — a space to test ideas, make connections, and celebrate what happens when creative communities come together. This year, as we turn five, it feels like a particularly special moment to open our doors and reflect on everything that’s been built here. We’d love for as many people as possible to be part of it.” — Jack Gibbon, Director, Bricks

EXHIBITIONS & ARTIST DISPLAYS
Cowboy Builder — Duke Mitchell · Pulp Room
dukemitchell.co.uk / @dukeamitchell
Paintings and sculptures born from Bristol’s fly-tipped and discarded materials. Borrowing their surfaces, colours, and forms from urban debris, Duke Mitchell’s works build a portrait of contemporary Britain seen through its waste — a landscape of ambition, neglect, and improvisation.

They Loved This Spot — Alaric Hobbs · Chipper Room
alarichobbs.com / @alarichobbsartist
A scorched metal bench — rebuilt from found mattress slats, ash, daffodil, and ribbon — already a survivor of several transformations. Alongside the sculpture, Alaric will host community workshops where participants make bench maquettes and collectively design a new one: a shared response to hostile architecture, disappearing public seating, and the quiet erasure of places to simply sit.

I Grew These Flowers For You — Alex Goodman · Paper Room
Floral print works on the artist’s wall in the Cibomatto café.
Suspended Figures — Amanda Hall · beside the Sauna
Life-size figures cut from woollen blankets, hung beside the sauna. A quiet exploration of what it means to be human — viewable from inside the sauna and between sessions.
TREASURE HUNT
Running all weekend from the entrance. Hunt for patterns and hidden elements around the building. Free, all ages, just pick up a sheet on arrival.
