The School of the Damned Takeover!
Last weekend an alternative and peer-led art education program The School of the Damned held a special takeover and showcased over 20 artists works at St Anne’s House.
The exhibition opened on Friday 26 with their theme of ‘Mud’, where the collective welcomed in visitors for a full weekend of art, crits and workshops.

Anna Corfa Isehayek, Bethan Jones, Bobbie Hook, Cecily Loveys Jervoise, Cillian Finnerty, Clara Helbig, Delphi Tomes, DYSPLA, Ellen Angus, Gabriele Renard, Genevieve Cameo, Jacob Bullen, James Southall-Ford, Johanna Ess, Julia Mallaby, Klaire O’Doyle, Laura Grainger, Martha McKellar, Max Yasmeen, Nikki Carroll, Olga Packza, Preost, Rob Downing, Ruth O’Sullivan, Samuel Thompson-Plant, Sana Serkebaeva, Sunny Vowles, Tanith Mab, Zoe Green.
There were also free workshops such as:
Craftivist mug-making workshop where participants joined Laura Grainger Ceramics and other group members to get hands on in making.
Paper making workshop, RobLikeToDraw hosted a hands-on paper-making experience using recycled materials.
We all had a brilliant time with the group, and look forward to seeing what they choose to do next, and we hope to host them again soon!
