Summer Sessions for young people

We’ve had a great time hosting local young people for a summer programme over the past month at St Anne’s House.

The sessions included a variety of activities by different facilitators, including: Art & Nature with Anita Gardner, Music Production with Luke Turner, Tie Dye totes and bags with Jamillia Ives, Storytelling from collage with Eli Lower, Songwriting & music with Kathleen Fitzpatrick Milton, an Art mash-up with Jo Chalkblack, and a Multimedia session with Jo Chalkblack.

Huge thank you to all who attended, and all who ran the different sessions.

We look forward to continuing an offer for young people in the area, and to make open access sessions happen on a weekly basis. If you’d like to register for updates on the sessions, please let us know in the form below!

Whats happened this summer?

Creative Youth Network and Bricks presented a series of free creative activities for groups of 11 – 14 year olds and 13 – 16 year olds.

01 – 24 August 2023, 10.30am – 2.30pm, free with lunch provided.

The four week programme was a chance to unleash your creativity through exploring different interests such as, song writing, theatre, graphic design, visual arts and making whilst meeting new people in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

These initial trial sessions are for young people in receipt of free school meals.
