SUMMARY:Layers: Become an Abstract Artist
DESCRIPTION:Dive into colours and shapes and learn how to express yourself with bold abstract art in this fun\, hands-on session for 8-12yrs. \n\n\n\n\nCome to St Anne’s House and transform yourself into an abstract artist! Join this reflective\, hands-on workshop exploring the connection between self\, others\, and the wider world through art. Participants will tune into the feelings and energy of their inner-self\, of those around them\, and the world. \nYou’ll translate these reflections into expressive shapes\, cut them from a selection of textured and coloured materials\, and layering and arrange them into a unique abstract composition\, that you can take home. \nWorkshop will be run by artist Morgane Sha’ban and supported by a volunteer and Holly (our Youth Programme Producer). \nNo art experience needed just curiosity and a willingness to explore through colour\, texture\, and form. \nLight snacks and refreshments provided.
