SUMMARY:Talking Tarot
DESCRIPTION:A local club for people who love tarot or oracle cards! A regular space to learn and practice tarot together. \nDuring the first session we will start with a brief grounding activity\, followed by exercises and discussion in which we will get to know each other\, explore our relationships with tarot (even if they are very new!) and make a plan for the future of the club. Bryony will give an overview of some tarot fundamentals and we will spend some time getting to know the first card in the tarot ‘The Fool’ the archetypal ‘new person’\, an energy we may all be feeling on the first day! Finally\, we will pair up to do some practice readings. For those who prefer oracle cards\, please feel free to use these for reading practice. \nWhether you are new to tarot or a seasoned reader\, I hope you join this club to meet other people who love tarot cards and start our collective learning journey! \nPlease bring your own deck of tarot or oracle cards with you. \nRefreshments will be available.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at our debut album launch ‘Journeys’ \nWith special guest support: Mike Dennis \nOur Razzomo journey began in 2013 with an open mic night in Pai\, Thailand\, shortly followed by our 1st gig there and another in India in what’s become our 2nd home of Agonda\, Goa. SUMMARY:Tutored Life Drawing - The Figure in Pastels
DESCRIPTION:A full day session with structured exercises and support from experienced artist and life drawing tutor Stuart Cranfield. \nThe session will start with an introduction to Stuart’s practice. Throughout the day we will work with the different techniques he uses within his practice and build up to creating full colour pastel figure drawings. \nMaterials will be provided\, including all paper and pastels and one prepared pumice board. Pastel sets which are used during the workshop\, will be given to attendees to take away with them\, to enable them to continue working with their new knowledge. \nThis session is suitable for those who are new to life drawing\, or looking to refine their existing figure drawing practice. Limited to 12 places\, to ensure each attendee can receive meaningful 1:1 support during the workshop. \nIf the price of this workshop would prevent you from attending\, please get in touch with us to discuss a concessionary ticket. You can also contact us with any questions prior to purchasing a ticket. \nEmail: unitedmodels.lifedrawing@gmail.com\nInstagram: unitedmodels_lifedrawing \n—————– \nThe foundation of Stuart’s practice is in the life room. With many hours spent drawing from life over nearly two decades\, he has honed a diverse range of approaches to drawing. As Life Drawing tutor at UWE\, Bristol\, Stuart shares what he has learnt with students; breaking drawing down into individual elements and translating these into concise themes and theories. His approach to pastels creates an accessible and easy route to colour drawings. \nPastels are a fantastic way to unlock colour and explore that extra element of expression. With so many colours to choose from with pastels\, it can be overwhelming. Stuart will explain how he chooses his colours and share his approach to colour theory and constructing a pastel piece. \n@stu_cranfield \n—————– \nCibomatto will be offering a meal deal for all of our sessions at St Anne’s House – soup\, coffee and cake. We encourage you to grab a coffee on your way in\, and to join us for lunch when we take a break at 12.30. As a new class in this space\, we would like to support the established community at St Anne’s House\, and help make new connections. Sharing delicious food together feels like the perfect way to do this. \n@cibomattobristol \nEntry requirements: 18+

SUMMARY:Life Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed\, untutored United Models Life Drawing session in the Mill Room at St Anne’s House\, a creative and community hub in Brislington. \nSimilarly to our Tuesday evening sessions at Kit Form\, there will always be two models posing – one for each half of the session. With this being a 90 minute session\, each model will pose for 40 minutes. Poses will range from 30 seconds to 20 minutes. There will be a short break when the models switch over\, where you can share your drawings. There will also be time for this at the end of the session\, or over lunch! \nCibomatto will be offering a meal deal for our sessions – soup\, coffee and cake. We encourage you to grab a coffee on your way in\, and to join us for lunch after the session. As a new class in this space\, we would like to support the established community at St Anne’s House\, and help make new connections. Sharing delicious food together after a morning of drawing feels like the perfect way to do this. \nBasic drawing materials will be available\, including pencils\, pastels\, charcoal\, paper and drawing boards. We do recommend that you bring your own sketchbook\, if you can. We also access to a few tables\, and there is plenty of space for easels\, if you would like to bring one to use during the session. \nThe session runs from 11:00-12:30. Please arrive at 10.45am to get set up ready for the start time. \nTickets are available on a pay what you can afford basis\, with a £10 minimum. \nEntry requirements: 18+\, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
