SUMMARY:Talking Tarot
DESCRIPTION:A local club for people who love tarot or oracle cards! A regular space to learn and practice tarot together. \nDuring the first session we will start with a brief grounding activity\, followed by exercises and discussion in which we will get to know each other\, explore our relationships with tarot (even if they are very new!) and make a plan for the future of the club. Bryony will give an overview of some tarot fundamentals and we will spend some time getting to know the first card in the tarot ‘The Fool’ the archetypal ‘new person’\, an energy we may all be feeling on the first day! Finally\, we will pair up to do some practice readings. For those who prefer oracle cards\, please feel free to use these for reading practice. \nWhether you are new to tarot or a seasoned reader\, I hope you join this club to meet other people who love tarot cards and start our collective learning journey! \nPlease bring your own deck of tarot or oracle cards with you. \nRefreshments will be available.

SUMMARY:Cibomatto Social Club: Valentine’s Special with DJ S/HE
DESCRIPTION:St Anne’s House opens its doors for a special Valentine’s night of music\, film\, food and connection\, hosted by Cibomatto Social Club. \nHeadlining the evening is DJ S/HE\, bringing a high-energy set blending 80s retro fluorescents with contemporary queer sass and post-gender sweaty bangers. SUMMARY:Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club Presents: Clueless
DESCRIPTION:A New Year\, and a new selection of cute and cosy films to bring us together\, to relax and enjoy some iconic movie moments with friends both new and old! \nAs if! This month we are totally bringing you one of the sickest\, most fly movies of the 90s! Starring Alicia Silverstone\, Brittany Murphy and Paul Rudd we are so\, like\, excited to bring you a screening of the 1995 classic\, ‘Clueless’! Join us in the Valley and expect some of the best clothes in modern cinema\, makeovers and a hint of Jane Austen. \nSet in Beverly Hills amid the shallow and rich\, Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of the pecking order at her high school. After matchmaking two of her teachers\, and riding high on the success\, Cher decides to give hopeless new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. But when Tai becomes more popular than Cher herself\, Cher realises that not only was her disapproving ex-step brother right about how misguided she is\, she also realises he might be kinda cute. \nSo\, get ready for cosiness\, lovely refreshments (popcorn to be expected) and giggles\, and join the Friendly Neighbourhood Film Club once again for a great screening. \nPlaid\, 90s attire and generally your best fashion are totally encouraged! \nAbout Friendly Neighbourhood Films: \nFriendly Neighbourhood Films is a relaxed\, social film club and collaborative project by curators and creative producers Dáire Carson and Alison Jones\, hosted at St Anne’s House. \nEntry requirements: 18+

SUMMARY:Life Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed\, untutored United Models Life Drawing session in the Mill Room at St Anne’s House\, a creative and community hub in Brislington. \nSimilarly to our Tuesday evening sessions at Kit Form\, there will always be two models posing – one for each half of the session. With this being a 90 minute session\, each model will pose for 40 minutes. Poses will range from 30 seconds to 20 minutes. There will be a short break when the models switch over\, where you can share your drawings. There will also be time for this at the end of the session\, or over lunch! \nCibomatto will be offering a meal deal for our sessions – soup\, coffee and cake. We encourage you to grab a coffee on your way in\, and to join us for lunch after the session. As a new class in this space\, we would like to support the established community at St Anne’s House\, and help make new connections. Sharing delicious food together after a morning of drawing feels like the perfect way to do this. \nBasic drawing materials will be available\, including pencils\, pastels\, charcoal\, paper and drawing boards. We do recommend that you bring your own sketchbook\, if you can. We also access to a few tables\, and there is plenty of space for easels\, if you would like to bring one to use during the session. \nThe session runs from 11:00-12:30. Please arrive at 10.45am to get set up ready for the start time. \nTickets are available on a pay what you can afford basis\, with a £10 minimum. \nEntry requirements: 18+\, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
