DESCRIPTION:Join our weekly creative meet-up group set up by a local volunteer Elisha. \nThis is a space to explore art\, crafts\, and get creative. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re looking to try something new\, have a project in mind\, want to meet new people in your local area\, or just need some ‘you’ time. No artistic experience is needed\, but if you have skills to share\, that’s great too. As a new group\, we’ll decide what we want to explore. Welcoming all ideas and creating projects we can learn together! \nEvery Tuesday \n9.30am–11am. \n‘I’ve set this up because I love being creative\, whether that’s getting my paints out\, crafting things with my kids\, crocheting or making presents. After speaking to other parents\, I realised that my desire to have a creative meeting space\, open during school hours\, was something others would also enjoy. Knowing this\, it inspired me to create one. So the plan is to create a relaxed space for anyone who wants to join…Parent or not.’ – Elisha \nWe will set up a theme for each session\, where I can give inspiration and projects everyone can get involved in. There will be a WhatsApp group set up to share ideas and inspiration. The aim is to provide a creative space where we can all explore in a safe\, relaxed & friendly way. But please also feel free to bring any projects you’re working on\, you’re work may inspire us. \nSessions are free and open to those aged 18 and over\, no booking necessary. \nIf you have a small child\, you’re welcome to bring them along\, as long as you’re still able to participate fully in the session. The focus is on taking time for yourself\, so we ask that you judge whether you can take part with your child alongside. \nWe know it can be hard to anticipate\, so you are welcome to come along and test it out!

SUMMARY:Life Sculpting Workshop (Taster Sessions)
DESCRIPTION:You’ve heard of life drawing\, but have you ever fancied a bit of life sculpting? \nUsing clay\, get your hands dirty in this chill sculpting session. \nYou need zero experience\, and need to bring nothing but yourself – although it may be worth wearing some clothes you don’t mind potentially getting a little messy! \nThe session is 1hr30mins with a few quick poses to get your creative juices flowing\, followed by a 1 hour pose. There will be breaks throughout. \nWe’ll be using nylon-reinforced air dry clay\, which you can take home at the end of the session to let dry over the next few days.\nIf you’d like to be provided with some varnish to use on your piece for extra protection once it has dried\, please bring along a small\, air-tight container and I will fill it up before you leave. \nSt Annes House is a wheelchair accessible building and has accessible toilets.
