DESCRIPTION:Filmmaking for the Future: Young People at St Anne’s House\, Autumn 2024\n\n\nJoin Us for an Exciting Climate Action Filmmaking Project Exploring Nature and the Climate this Autumn! \nWe are thrilled to invite young people aged 15-21 to participate in a fun filled 3-month climate action film project\, hosted in partnership with Screenology\, BFI Film Academy\, and Bio-Leadership. This project is perfect for passionate individuals eager to learn or develop their filmmaking and storytelling skills to better communicate stories about nature and the planet. the urgency of the climate emergency. \nWhen? \nEvery Wednesday for 12 weeks during term-time:  Wednesday 18 September- Wednesday 11 December 2024\, 5-7pm \nOne Saturday Session on 23rd November 11am-1pm for location shoot (see here for detailed timetable) \nSessions between St Anne’s House\, BS4 4AB and Screenology\, St Vincent’s Works\, Silverthorne Ln\, Bristol BS2 0QD (See here for detailed timetable) \nA film festival organised by the group will take place on Saturday 14th December. \nWhat to Expect? \nOver the course of the 12 week project\, you will: \nLearn Essential Film-making Skills: Dive into devising\, scriptwriting\, camera work\, and editing/producing. \nExplore Nature-Based Narratives: Immerse yourself in Bio-Leadership’s approach to storytelling around nature. \nCreate Impactful Short Films: Develop films based on your interests\, from science fiction to documentary. \nYouth-Organised Film Festival: Showcase your work at a festival featuring your films\, panel discussions\, and workshops aimed at raising climate awareness and creativity! \nIndustry Experience: Enjoy a special behind-the-scenes tour at BFI/Watershed\, along with screenings and Q&A sessions with established filmmakers \nEveryone is welcome\, you do not need any previous filmmaking experience to take part!  \n  \nSIGN UP IS ESSENTIAL \nIf you have any access issues which require you to need a different format to complete this form\, please call or text: 07718 106953 or email: jack.young@bricksbristol.org and we can sort these out for you. \n  \nN.B.
