We’re inviting expressions of interest for an open plan and office space at St Anne’s House, a vibrant creative and community hub in the heart of St Annes. These spaces can be rented individually or together as a combined open plan and office suite, or as a standalone open plan space and separate private office. Previously used as a rehearsal space with an associated office for a producing organisation, the area is flexible and well suited to a wide range of uses.

Located on the second floor, the space benefits from large windows overlooking surrounding trees, offering natural light and a calm, secluded atmosphere. The area includes an enclosed office with a fully equipped kitchenette, and an open plan workspace, creating an adaptable environment for both focused and collective work. The space has its own coded access and is situated in a quiet part of the building. The space is accessible via stairs or lift and shares the 2nd floor with artists studios, the community gym, play therapists and a co-working space.

Brick’s mission is to build the resilience of Bristol’s creative, local and social enterprise communities in ways that are creative and mutually supportive. St Anne’s House is our flagship project, bringing these communities together to thrive by providing affordable space in a supportive environment.

This large open plan and office space becoming available at St Anne’s House is a rare opportunity to enable creative and/or social enterprises in Bristol to find a new home. The space itself sits alongside the many networks, opportunities and connections that the building, team and community creates. 

Our hope is that this space brings people together from across Bristol, bringing ideas, people and activity into St Annes. We hope to find a tenant who will thrive in the space and contribute to the ambitions of the building and local area.

There are numerous ways that this space could be inhabited to bring benefit to applying organisations, local people and the wider creative and social enterprise communities of Bristol. We are open to listening to any potential use. It has up to now been an incredibly valuable rehearsal space and space for cultural production. It could also suit making or light fabrication, public facing activities, or a whole host of social enterprise uses.

We are opening this opportunity to an open call, inviting any proposal for use of the space. Decision making will be informed partly by the practicalities of ensuring that potential tenants are suitable, sustainable and here for the long-term, as well as the added value they can bring to the operation of St Anne’s House for both other building tenants and local communities.
